It becomes more and more obvious every year that Thanksgiving is becoming the forgotten holiday. As soon as the Halloween candy was pulled from the shelves, the Christmas candy went up. Aa a matter of fact, at 12:01am on November 1, I saw the first Christmas commercial of the year. This year, perhaps more than ever, we need all the help we can get to remember that there is a day set aside for us to pause and give thanks.
As we enter this week of celebrating Thanksgiving, I challenge all reading this DailyBide to spend some time taking today's God's Story scripture to heart. Then, it won't just be the folks in the App Store who are helping us get ready for Thanksgiving. The One to whom we are most thankful will be preparing our hearts even more.

- Who are the people in your life who have been responsible for you getting to know Jesus in the way that you have? Find a way to express your thankfulness to them this week for all they have done for you.
